Nature lovers can only revel in local flora and fauna in Israel. Located at the crossroads of three continents, the country is home to thousands of varieties of plants, trees and bushes ranging from alpine species, especially on Mount Hermon and in the Galilee, or Saharian, between the Sin Desert and the Red Canyon of Eilat.

Wild animals adapted to these different climates are also present.
